What does it feel like to be hated just for being alive?

Set in 1924, a small Vermont town is faced with a new force in town. Two girls, one African American and the other Jewish, are among those who are no longer welcome by some of the townspeople.

A shooting sends residents reeling as heroes and villains are exposed, and the true spirit of the town emerges. A story sure to test the limits of your own beliefs.
