COMMUNITY DAY AT THE CENTER 2010

On Thursday, July 15, 2010 , the Marcus Center offered WICKED Community Day as part of our community initiatives at the Center.

The purpose for hosting this event was to provide an opportunity for 200 youth from targeted neighborhood community centers in Milwaukee the chance to see “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” (New York Times).

The participating groups were Pearls For Teen Girls Inc., Latino Arts Inc., Girls in the House-Journey House, Running Rebels Community Organization and Latino Community Center-Violence Free Zone program.

After the show, the students were treated to an exclusive post-performance educational talk back session with the cast and crew of WICKED.
