MC experience the center

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is committed to serving the community.  We are proud to offer a wide range of programs to reach young people, teachers, and families throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.

Live at the Center

  • Kidz Days
    • Traditionally held on the Marcus Center outdoor grounds Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer months Kidz Days features a variety of educational and entertainment programs for children.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Birthday Celebration

  • Always taking place in the month of January, this event focuses on keeping the legacy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. alive.  This January marks the 25th year the Marcus Center has hosted this public event. Programming highlights the youth in our community who every year interpret Dr. King’s words through an art, speech and writing contest.  In addition, various cultural arts organizations take center stage in our pre-program performance truly demonstrating the excellence of our arts community.
